Spankin Time Motorsports

On my quest to find the best Blower and tuner, I stopped by Adam's shop (ST Motorsports). He happened to be tuning the exact year, make, color, mileage, 6spd as mine. He had just installed a new 2.8 LC KB with Tim's Wot box and 50/50 water meth injection. What a rush it was watch that thing spin the drums!

The shop is a no nonsense environment. Adam was extremely busy taming that beast but took the time to answer my questions and explained to me how he was tweaking his tune.

I'm am pretty much sold on the Kenne Bell and ST motorsports, but wanted gather some more information before I pull the trigger.

What else would you like to know? You've seen his work, the shop has a waiting list to get in, you saw dragn's car dyno pull and finished install. What info are you looking for?

Another shop will install the magnuson and honor factory warranty. Sounds to good to be true. *If bottom goes boom they will stand behind it . Don't know if they will put it writing yet?

Magnuson is going to let me drive a challenger with the new kit on it. Would love to feel the drivability of it.

Before I drop that kind of money and seal the direction of power gains by going FI , I want to be sure

You should have taken my car around the block to see how the maggie drives, then test drive a KB car. Then your drive home would have been all smiles knowing you decided on getting the KB LOL Good luck with your decision

If I had to do it again I would go with the KB and I would definitely have Adam at ST do my tune. KB didn't have a blower for the 5.7 when I got mine. Adam is a pro with the KB and always takes time to answer any questions I have. Also, with him you can do mild or wild. It's all about how far you want to push the envelope.

I would love to see 2 identical cars 1 with a KB and 1 with the maggie same boost tuned by the same tuner run the 1/4. No dyno BS!!! I bet a dollar to a donut they would be within a few hundreths of each other. I'm so glad I'm not in the market for a blower because It's very difficult to sort through all the hype and I've installed numerous blowers so I can't imagine how difficult it is for the guy who has zero clue but what he's told by the manufacturer. The upside is we actually have blowers to choose from and hype to sort through. I remember a time when there was 1 choice to supercharge and you had a 50/50 shot of grenading your engine.

I'll keep my money, guns, and freedom, you can keep the change

Maistro, that testing is being done.(Magnacharger off KB 2.8 LC going on!!! thread) The maggie was already dyno and track tested, now the KB is being installed for dyno and track testing on the same car, adam will post results this week.

Why would you of gone with KB? Is it the derivability with your current SC or not enough power issue.

By chance is your car in Ryan's shop with a scrambled bottom end with only 1,200 miles on it?
