that's Buddy's car here in Alberta, he is extremely busy, that is the G5 hood. I have a T/A Mopar hood. You can find scoops online, I would recommend a full hood and scopp.

no problem:

the Mopar T/A hood is non functional, however you can make it functional with some cuts and drill holes. The plus side is that the scoop and hood are 2 seperate pieces in a sense that they aren't moulded as 1 full piece. The hood is metal and the scoop is a poly urethane.

The G5 hood is 1 solid piece, it is a functional hood if you want it to be, but there is a seperate air direction chamber to be bought on top of the hood. Now I'm in no way saying the G5 hood is bad, however with Bud's car as seen above in your initial post, he had to do MAJOR repair work as the shell was cracked all the way around the hood, and SOME G5 hoods have been cracking right at the curvature point from the scoop to where it meets the hood. A nice hood but the scoop is lower in height, and narrower than the Mopar scoop. The G5 is all fibreglass as well.

At some point in time just about all these fiberglass hoods show some signs of cracking so if you are anal about every detail that might not be an option.

man it suck that G5 has such a bad quality( if it cracks)..it looks so much "killer" than the Mopar one.

The G5 T/A hood was retooled and improved for the 2009 SEMA show. The hoods from the 2008 SEMA show were prototypes are were not production models. The hoods that are currently shipping have a better fit and finish.
