It's been around for a while prior to the release of the Kenne Bell's. I haven't heard much from this set up since then. Here is a link that was on this forum.

Wow and thats through the stock headers/cats/exhaust too. Tons left on the table if he adds longtubes and a catback. I wonder how long the motor will last at this power level?

Here's the dyno sheet, in case anyone was curious.

Someone was asking about dyno comparisons between our tune and the KB tune... Kenne Bell will not email you a base tune (they say it is against company policy to email tunes) - the only way you can get a base from them is to order a pre-loaded predator. We didn't have time to get the calid in advance so I just did this one from scratch. No comparison this time.

For reference, the car is a bone stock 09 SRT8 6speed with a catback, stock cats, stock headers, stock... Just a KB kit on 8psi (7.7psi peak according to the dyno's boost guage)

Excellent. This is where I hope to be with the 2.71 upper pulley installed.

Be f'in careful.... People seem to be having real good luck with stock 6.1 motors + boost but I'm still scared of the pistons in those things. This customer wasn't concerned with numbers so I ended up shipping it with at 513hp/478tq. I dropped *one* degree of timing out to do this, which says there is a lot of power left at this boost level from further timing advance I was not brave enough to do. Also, the graph speaks for itself - there was more power at this boost level by spinning the motor faster than 6500. Again, not something I was brave enough to do.

Same here. My car made a lot more power on the dyno, but I was afraid to run it with all that timing. One bad tank of gas or dentonation and goodbye ringlands. Seeing more and knowing I couldn't run the timing convinced me to go ahead and build the bottom end now. Once I took the motor apart though it looked really good. Nice black carbon burned on top of the pistons.

These supercharger threads always get me so excited then sad then scared.

1. OMG look at the new SC setup from X! That's f'ing awesome!

2. Damn I can't afford anything like that.

3. Oh crap, even if I could afford a SC here's another post about blowing up an engine with boost- God Id never run a SC for fear of destrying my engine.

Rinse

Repeat

here's a dyno run yesterday on a stone cold stock 6.1L Hemi w/ a six speed.

Kenne Bell Tune
9.3 lbs of boost.
max rwhp = 561
max rw torque = 511

factory red line = 6,200 rpm.
