There is no need to install a Procharger or Vortech for comparison. They're not even in the same league as a twin screw. You don't end up with 400+ ft/lbs of torque at 2000 RPM with a Procharger unless it is pulleyed to make an insane amount of boost at redline.
Yah know honestly I was hoping for a comparison, not just a "trust me, the one I sell is better, case closed" kind of response. I have my choices narrowed down to a twin screw (Keene Belle or Techno most likely) or the Procharger. I'd like to compare the dyno charts side by side, and was hoping you had that info. Thanks anyway.
I have a Vortech Supercharged 08 Challenger SRT8 coming in next Thursday for a dyno tune.
We are installing the 8psi pulley so you will have a good comparrison to see. The only thing that throws it off some is that the Vortech car has headers and a catback, while the Kenne Bell cars had stock exhaust.
We "detune" the K.B. cars from what they could make, and we "let" them leave at around 515-520whp.
The K.B. will make much more torque and HP down low and midrange. Max numbers will be about the same.
'Preciate that, you'll get a call when I'm ready for sure. In the mean time I'd love to be able to compare the dyno charts side by side, RPM to RPM, for as you mention, it's not all about peak HP and TQ. It's more about the total area under the curve, and where the power comes on.
