Transmission Light

I picked up my RT classic today after I got all the mods done to it..

K&N CAI
85mm Throttle Body
Long Tube Headers
Corsa Extreme Exhaust
Predator Custom Tune
180 T-Stat

After driving the car for about 45 mins the transmission light came on, the interior section of the car where the shifter is and around the transmission got fairl hot including the shifter itself...
This never happened when everything was bone stock..
Can anybody tell me what this means??
thanks

I'd be taking a close look at how the new headers and exhaust might be providing extra heat to the transmission. If that's the cause, I'd look into getting some thermal insulation on the new pipes.

Maybe not the problem, but a place to start...

sound slike the headers are to close to the trans and heating it up. What kinda of headers did you get? Call the header manufacture and see if they can help you.

Do your headers have a ceramic coating? If not, you might want to consider getting them coated.
