I have recieved multiple questions asking if you can tune a B&G ECU with a Diablo Trinity. Yes you can and it wipes out the B&G tune all the way since Diable forces the ECU to be upgraded to the "AE" version of code and B&G uses a modified version of the "AB" code.
Please note the B&G tune makes changes to many more areas that what Diablo currently does.
Do you currently have any CEL's with any NA bolt-ons for B&G? Diablo?
Which is a better performance tune? You tell us.
Which one allows the user to make adjustments? Diablo
I didn't start this thread to be a peeing contest. I want folks to be able to report issues and results in an unbiased format. Which I think is the reason behind this whole forum.

Nothing but rave reviews from our customers that have had us install the tunes as well as those that have received and installed their tunes. The reviews all come back the same, they love the power, they love the torque management reduction, the ability to adjust on the fly for mds removal, tire size, gear, fan settings etc, in addition to having a great tool to monitor in real time the parameters they choose! Lots of happy folks now that the codes have been cracked!

I have not paid much attention until now, but I thought I read somewhere to not run the vehicle with the Trinity hooked up.
I am probably wrong and miss read it, but it must be ok to run with it hooked up if you can adjust on the fly and monitor gauges right? Just dont want to mess anything up.

Perfectly fine to keep it plugged in while running, infact it is designed for that. It has built in customizable gauges so you can monitor many parameters in real time.

Thanks for the info, now I just need to figure out how to get the gauges set up. I really suck at this computer stuff, it just baffles me and I cant figure it out. I guess I need to find a 10 year old kid to help me.
Thanks for the update Steve.
My question is, if you use the DS Trinity on a B&G ECU, what program (tune) would be in the ECU if you go back to the original "back up" tune from the Trinity tune?
Please note the B&G tune makes changes to many more areas that what Diablo currently does.
Can you list them? I'd like to know whats being altered before I order. (if you can)
I don't need specific values, just like to know whats being changed.
For example on EFI Live I can change:
Fans, trans shift speed, firmness, spark curve, advance, timing, knock sensors, throttle, fuel, O2 sensors, MDS, rev limiter speed limiter, stuff like that etc..
Heres an idea.. Why not put the stock ecu back in when you put the trinity tune in... then you can switch back and forth and have the best of both worlds...if you feel the need. I really dont see the point of overriding the BandG flash. Seems like a big waste of coin!!!!
