I went to the dealer to set up an appointment and they acted like they never heard of it. The body shop guy said that he had seen it before. I went to the parts department to see if it was in stock and he said no they had to be ordered. I went back to the service guy and told him that they were not in stock. He said go back over and have them ordered. If I did not do this it would have been two trips to the dealer. I checked the 6 Challenger's on the lot and no crack So I bring it to the dealer and tell them that I saw on the Challenger forum about the power sterring issue. They did not know what I was talking about. She said what was the symptom I was talking about. I told her the sterring wheel does not come back to center in the cold weather. She wrote it on the service order and guess what? The parts have to be ordered. Well I guess the moral to this is check to see if the parts are there before you bring in the car
. Well the car goes back in the garage till spring or when the dealer calls and says the parts are in. I do say that Mt Emphrim Dodge has been very good to me so far. Also when thry brought the car inside there were about 4 guys in suit jackets inspecting the car. I guess they must have heard something!
