Nope, hasn't happened yet with over 45,000 miles between two different cars, R/T Classic and SRT with six speeds. Maybe your driving position is different?
The only problem I have is when I go to drive my Jeep Grand Cherokee, I pull what I think is the emergency brake release and pop the hood lol. The brake on that vehicle releases by pressing on the pedal. This is why I prefer a center console hand brake lever.

No, but I have twice popped the trunk when reaching for the hood release. The button is placed about exactly where my thumb falls when reaching the lever.
I agree with the others, not even close on using the clutch, but have pulled the brake release more than once while reaching for the hood release, particularly while standing outside the car.

Thanks for the feed back, on the hood release.... The hood has popped open to the safety catch at least three times. I was looking at the position of the hood release vs the clutch pedal and thought this might be happening. Could be the release is not set right....
