Never had this happen - I use the ball of my foot. And I don't have small feet (11 - 11.5 size)

Are you using the arch of your foot on the pedal? That's about the only way I could see that possible.

I suspect your problem is with the hood latch. I had a problem with my Mustang GT where the hood would pop up to the safety catch if I hit a bump in extremely cold weather (below about 20 degrees anyway, which is rare for here) I assume it had to do with the contraction of metal vs. the factory fiberglass hood.

15s here and I did it a few times the first month not even realizing that I did and wondered how the hood poped. Have not done it since I realized by I'm sure it will happen again?

YES!! It has happened to me several times! I had hood pins installed when I purchased my R/T 6 spd, thank goodness. I was wondering if the latch release could be adjusted(tightened)?

I have done this several times also, but I find myself doing it when I go to exit my foot hits the latch and pops it open , some times I don't notice I've done it til I get back in the car and drive away...

Yup, and i have small feet 9-10. Seems to help if u dont have mesh type shoes. The mesh seems to catch the latch better.
