no start with remote

2010 chanllenger all of a sudden won't start with either remote only will beep once and does nothing.

I had the same thing happen about a year ago... Had to go to the dealer for an update. Hasn't done it since!!!

I had an 09 that did that too it was ok as long as it wasn't too cold out 45 degrees or below give or take and it will beep once and nothing... but warming up around mid day it worked fine. and not once ever did I have a problem during spring or summer. Had the 09 for 2 years and I played around a lot with that and I have no doubt the temperature outside is what was effecting mine

it can be temperatures, but for my 09 SRT8, i went to the dealer and they wanted to check all these things, even under warranty, so i decided to check the battery first in the remote. Turns out, it was the battery in the remote and just spent 6 dollars to get the battery replaced =]
i suggest you try that first

there is a tsb for intermittant remote start function. It needs a flash.

how about for a new 2013 with 23 miles? when the car was delivered it worked fine, later that day I tried using the fob and the horn honked once.. no start. I got in the car and the dash said "Ignition mode on", I pressed the brake it started, I pulled it down into drive, back into park....cut it off. got out and the remote start worked fine. next day doors were locked (I didn't lock them) and touching the door handles didn't unlock them, had to use the fob.. remote start not working again. after getting in starting and getting out it worked again. I figured I was doing something wrong and had no idea what.
