Rattling behind driver at highway speeds

I've tried searching for similar posts but can't find any with the exact issue. 2015 scat pack with the most annoying rattle behind my head at highway speeds. I've tried banging on the panel but no luck. If the wife could drive stick I'd crawl back there and investigate. Anyone else experience this?

Hey aecharlie--I'm not familiar with the rattle you're describing, but if you need any help making an appointment at your dealership, or if I can follow up with them for you, please PM your VIN and let me know.

Same noise on mine, pretty sure it's the driver's rear wheelwell liner but I haven't felt like doing anything about it. I can only hear it with the radio off, it's not loud by any means. Sounds like a soft, somewhat muffled tapping noise.

It's been a year and I'm just now getting around to complaining about it. It's not loud at all but it's been a buildup and now I get annoyed when I hear it [emoji101] [emoji100]

I've had that rattling/flapping sound since day one on my 2015. Only happens at highway speeds, sounds like it is coming from right behind my left shoulder. I thought it was the trim piece around the seat belt opening, but it is definitely the wheel liner on the left rear. Since I very rarely drive without either my window down or the sound up, I never hear it.

I also had a rattle in my door appear not long ago, but after searching around here found out it was probably a loose screw under the rubberized cover in the door handle. Pulled the cover up, tightened the screw and that was taken care of.

My rattle sounds like small gravel hitting something down low, at highway speeds. No idea what it is or how to fix it.

When I painted my rotors last weekend I pulled the driver's rear wheel well liner and a rock fell out. I also found a bunch of the plastic rivets were loose in their holes with no real way to fix them, but I put some sticky-backed foam on the metal behind the liner where it sounded like it was coming from (just forward of the rear shock) and the noise is gone now.

I finally found the source of my rattle. It's the interior panel trim in the back seat, right where it meets the door. The entire thing is loose and rattles when I hit the smallest bump. Fixed it temporarily by pulling it out slightly so it feels like a clip inside is now engaged partway. I now have a half inch gap in the trim panel, but the rattle is gone. Will probably attempt to tape it down with double sided tape later.
