Trim around bottom of windshield leaking

I was washing my car this evening and when I was rinsing the windshield off steam started coming from under the hood. I looked and water was going under the trim and under the hood. I'm going to try and get some urethane glue and glue it back. Anybody else had this happen?

That cowl trim isn't glued down to the windshield - its held in place with push-pins and scrivits (at the ends).

Its a rubbery material along the upper edge that lays against the glass.

I raised the hood and all I saw were three push pins and they're in place. Is there something else that holds it?

That's all there is - the scrivets are at the ends and the small push pins at the tips of the fenders.

It appears your trim is warped - I had removed mine to install the plenum insert and cabin filter, so I've done the R&I for that trim part.

I wonder if it would hurt anything to leave it like that? It's not noticeable at all.

If it were my car, and it had no warranty, I would remove that trim piece to see why it had warped, and use a heat gun to un-warp it and reinstall.
