black on black

Hello all. I'm thinking of putting the '71 RT style side stripe (black) on a black '10 Challenger. Does anyone have a pic of this or point me in the right direction? I don't have photoshop or I would have used it. I've seen pics of '70 TA's black on black and I think they look sweet. Any thoughts??

I've seen several black classics with the black side stripe. It is subtle but I like it. It all comes down to your personal preference. I would search around until you can find a black classic at a dealer. I don't think pictures are going to give you a true idea of what it looks like.

I just saw a black on black RT/C today at my dealer. The stripes might as well be invisible.

the matte black stripes on brilliant black can be invisible or really pop. it all depends on the lighting.

Thanks for the input and photos! I also found a black/black '10 Classic on Ebay. Just what I am looking for, subtle. For some reason, I didn't think you could get a black/black Classic from Chrysler. Thanks again

That's only true in near-dark conditions. In normal light, the black R/T stripes on my black Challenger look great. It's a subtle look, but very distinctive.
