Smile Car is off for some goodies

Well I dropped the car off on Monday at Time Machines. They will be doing a Custom two-tone paint (Black/Red), Hood will have the Red SRT stripe and the side will have the old style R/T stripe, I think it is the 1971 style.
Carbon Fiber front & rear valance, hood scoops and spoiler, Tint, Lowering it and some special stitching on the inside.
I will probably end up with some new rims and tires too.

I should have it back by Oct. 30-31st, Big Daddy Don Garlits Mopar show is Nov. 1st and 2nd.

Oh my God that's gonna look amazing. Go with some 20's up front and 21's or 22's in the back and that car = the sex.

Gasser Time Machines is in Hudson north of New Port Richey, they build some awesome cars, lots of Hemi cars, they also mate the new with the old (ZO6 chassis with a 1954 Vette, Viper engine in a Cuda, Rear engine (GT40) in a 68fastback Mustang.
I will be there on Saturday and post some pics when I get back, they had called today and said they had it all apart, sent the pieces to get the Carbon Fiber look (only way you can tell that it is paint is to feel it), ordered the lowering kit yesterday (Afco), Tint guy will be there next week.
They said that it will be done for the show, so I will definately see you there.

ghoskins I was thinking those sizes on the car, it would give it a nice rake with the different sizes.

Joe

Re: Car is off for some goodies

Here are some pictures from when I stopped by today. I pulled up and they were moving it so I stopped them to take a few pics. It goes in the booth tomorrow and they will starp the taping as there is alot to do. The pics aren't much just some wet-sanding.

My AFCO shocks and springs should be here tomorrow. Nice thing about these is they are adjustable, they have them on an SRT I saw there and these AFCO's make a big difference.

Smile Re: Car is off for some goodies

Well the side R/T stripes are done and I approved the Hood R/T stripe so I am hoping that it will be finished this week.

They have 3 cars that have to leave on Friday for the Mopar's at the Playboy mansion and 3 other cars that will be going to SEMA. I am just happy they were able to work on mine.

The cost of this is more then I thought I would spend, especially on a brand new car

wondering the same! I thought he meant half red and half black, that would have been cool!
