I purchased the old script Challenger emblems and it should be arriving any day now hopefully. I wanted to prepare for putting this on by getting some measurements or at least a picture or two of an actual Classic challenger fender. I want to replicate the factory placement. Can anybody offer this help up?
Much appreciated and thanks in advance!

I am waiting on a script Challenger for my rear spoiler. I googled 1970 Challenger R/T and found several ads for them that are up for sale. The photos showed the exact placement on the fenders and the rear deck.
Just Google 2009 Challenger R/T Classic and several photos will come up with the fender placements. BTW, where did you buy your emblems? Mine is on back order from moparsupercenter. Did you have to wait?

I bought mine through the local Dodge dealer, came in a week...
For placement, I Googled Challenger Classic, downloaded photos, blew them up to real size, and made a template to place them on my car. If memory serves, it was about 5 inches from the fender crease to the bottom of the "Challenger" logo, and about 3 inches in from the door/fender separation line.
I took a photo of my car after I finished, blew it up and compared it to the on-line photos, and they seem to be in the same place, so I think I must have got it right...
On the R/T in the day, the R/T was above the line and Challenger was below, but then in 72 the Challenger was above the line. I like it as I have i nthe picture.. My favorite year was 70 for the car. On another thread a long long time ago, I did post the measurements too. I think it was like 3 3/4" from the door opening and about 1/2" below the line from the top of the tallest letter ??
I checked on the Internet, and there's a fully restored 1970 Challenger R/T SE (only $97,000, too...) and the Challenger logo was above the fender crease line, with our R/T logo beneath the crease...
Around the corner from me is a brown 1970 Challenger with a 340 six-pack that has the Challenger logo on the rear quarter panel, above the crease line...
The original R/T also had the R/T logo on the rear spoiler, if I'm not mistaken...
IMO, none of the original badge placements do much for me... I like the current 2009 placement, below the crease line, much better. As for the rear spoiler, I chose to put my "Hurst Equipped" logo on the right rear portion of the spoiler after I installed my Hurst shifter and 1970 pistol grip shifter...
