Classic emblem placement

Does anyone have the actual specs for correct placement of the "Classic" Challenger front fender emblem on the front fender? Help! The local dealer has no classics for me to measure.

I can't believe that no one with a Classic would go outside and put a tape measure to the emblem. I need to know the distance from the rear edge of the front fender (next to the door) to the first character of the emblem and the distance from the front fender body line above the emblem to the top of the "C" in the Challenger script. If I have those measurements I can put the emblems on correctly.

Ironically, I just put new Challenger emblems on my '11 SE yesterday afternoon. I did a search of the forum, and one member posted that the placement is 3 1/2" from the edge of the fender, and 3 1/2" from the body crease to the bottom of the "LL"s in the emblem. That placement looks good on my car.

Done & Done

Thank you!!! I did a search and found the top of the C location to be 3 inches from the fender line and the distance from the edge of the door as 3 1/4 inches to the first letter on each side.

I put mine on the grille and the lip spoiler

One should not be envious of those who have prospered by unjust deeds, nor should one disdain those who have fallen while adhering to the path of rightousness.

8:30 AM Monday. I'm not gonna do those myself. I'd mess them up for sure.
