Here is our Challenger on Chrome 22" KMC Novas

Here is a picture of our Latemodel Restoration Supply(newchallengerparts.com) Hemi Orange project car on chrome 22x9 and 22x11 KMC Novas. Maybe a little too much bling for some, but it does look nice and reminds us of a SEMA car or a Hot Wheel! The chrome really stands out and makes the orange look a little darker. With 22's it actually makes the Challenger look smaller. I was hoping to be the first Challenger with them, but I saw that there was another one already on the site in an avatar. Oh well here are some pics anyway...

Re: Here is our Challenger on Chrome 22" KMC Novas

I was prepared to barf when I opened this thread because I hate crazy big wheels on a muscle car. I have to say that they actually look darn good. I must say 5 spoke wheels are almost always good looking.

I think the Machined ones would have looked more Old School. Any Rubbing Issues? What size and brand/model tires are you running? Maybe even a 20/22" combo?

What size tires are you running? Any issues rubbing/turning?

Like the five star of course... Too big for me personally... But the chrome wheels do standout against the orange

I really like the way it looks too... the machined ones would have looked bad ass also.

Actually I have been looking for the right wheel, i want an all shiny black inside and a big chrome lip. ... I'll Be Turnin Heads fa sho!!!

Re: Here is our Challenger on Chrome 22" KMC Novas

The tires are two 265/35/22, & two 295/30/22 Nitto NT 420's. No rubbing issues at all even lock to lock. The outer diamater are basically the same as the stock wheels and tires. I still want to put springs on it to drop it just a hair.

We were going to go with the satin finish but figured if your going to go big, then go with chrome!

Re: Here is our Challenger on Chrome 22" KMC Novas

those look awesome! might have been asked already, but, no caliper clearance issues? Did you have to use a spacer to push the wheels out at all?

Re: Here is our Challenger on Chrome 22" KMC Novas

Yes it did take some small spacers. 1/8" spacer on the back and 5/16" spacer on the front. If you get the kit from newchallengerparts.com (Latemodel Restoration Supply, it comes with the spacers. Different lug nuts are also required.
