hood stripe vs side stripe

Someone told me today to be careful of the hood stripe as the heat of the hood may over time diminish its look. Starting to look at the side stripes and cant decide.

unless they used very cheap vinyl, the heat will not affect it at all. It will make it harder to remove though.

We have dozens of Charger and Mustang Customers with Hood Stripes and none have ever had any issues.

thx, that's probably what i'll stay with but i like the hockey stick one also and may do both
