Exterior Discussion / ModificationsWant to change the look and appearance of your Dodge Challenger? This section is for the discussion of any exterior visual modifications. Examples include wheels, custom paint, grills, etc.
I was looking at an '08 Challenger today. Besides the fact that the car OOZES presence, I noticed that the lip spoiler looks a little small for the size of the car. One thought that struck me was: How would the SRT Charger spoiler look on the back end of the Challenger? I assume that the width of the cars would allow this to be a direct, bolt-on replacement? I always liked the look of the 70's era Go-Wings, and thought this might be a modern day interpretatin of that look. Along with the TA style hood, I really think it would look sharp.
Be careful about changing spoilers, especially on the SRT.
The one that comes standard is fully functional and was the result of extensive wind tunnel tests.
I was actually going to mention that. One of the designer said something about it in one of their interview segments. Im not sure how much of a role it really plays though, but it definately helps at 150+mph

Do they not have a spoiler listed in the Mopar accessory catalogue?
Yep, in the new catalog there is mention of the Go-Wing to be available from Mopar accessories. Also in the catalog is a pic of a red R/T with aforementioned spoiler. I wonder if this also has been wind tunnel tested, and would it come painted in the color code desired, or primered. Man, the side money i have budgeted for add-ons is quickly being taken up! LOL
