Re: How To: Install HID Headlights on a Challenger SE

Just a heads up, I am working on a prototype, DOT approved, High/Low, projector setup for the Challengers. If it is cost effective I will let you know first!!

I'll probably start a thread on it after SEMA, so keep an eye out!!

Re: How To: Install HID Headlights on a Challenger SE

BF, do you offer the kit for the R/T's in 6000K?? Also would there be an advatange to waiting for the hi/lo kit as apposed to the regular kit. ( I dont have the car yet) I assusmed the challenger had a seperate bulbs for the High beam right? The kit looks good and hopefully I am getting the car this weekend. This will probably be my first mod. Have HID's on my mustang and I couldnt imagine driving another car with regular lights again

Superman - I do have the kit available in 6000K also. The high/low projector kit I am talking about is still a ways away. Definitely colser to the beginning of the year...just like I mentioned in the post above, the projector will have the more defigned light pattern as opposed to the reflective lenses of OEM.

I will keep everyone posted on the projector!

Re: How To: Install HID Headlights on a Challenger SE

I am not sure yet if there is going to be clearance or affordability to even produce the kit... It will be a complete unit if it does become available, so you would remove your entire housing and put this one in its place...

I you already have my HID kit and you want to upgrade to the projector kit, I will give you a prorated credit towards the cost of the projection kit. How does that sound?
