Re: How To: Install HID Headlights on a Challenger SE

What about using these instead of trying to strip? I've used them before with success.

3M? Scotchlok? Connectors for Electrical Applications IDC

Re: How To: Install HID Headlights on a Challenger SE

if anyone is interested I found a company that manufactures a Hi/Low plug and play kit fo rthe SE/SXT without autolights for a really decent price, mine will be here on tomorrow and includes everything needed for our cars, cost me $175cdn shipped to my door.

I'm not trying to cut in on BF's sales, just thought I'd post it as there is a resistor required in the kit of you have DRL's like us Northerners do.

I might be interested in the Bi-xeon kit and possibly the Fog lamp kit after Christmas. What is the installation like on the Bi xeon kit? What is the wiring harness that you get ? ANd what is the anti Flicker kit? thanks for your info.

Re: How To: Install HID Headlights on a Challenger SE

Inferno - The bi-xenon installation is still plug and play. It is all a very easy install. In fact the hardest part of the install is finding a place to mount the ballast.

The wiring harness is a kit that is used to switch and regulate the high and low beam trigger. The anti-flicker kit is used to regulate the voltage that the computer recognizes. If the computer senses something other than stock than the computer compensates and causes the headlights to flicker or not even turn on.

Hopefully that answers your questions?? If not, feel free to email or call us!!

Thanks,
Nick
