LED Tail Lights

Are there any LED Tail Light complete assembly replacements for the Dodge Challenger 2008 / 2009 ?

I like LED lighting for the exterrior lights, except for the main headlamps.

What are everyone elses thoughts on this?

Re: LED Tail Lights

The only replacement for the taillights I'd want is something that makes them look just like the concept.

Re: LED Tail Lights

LED's would look pretty cool if it were just a single strip of LEDs, that went from red to white, for the reverse lights. But even then, I'd only do it with a full aftermarket kit, which removed the "DODGE" emblem on the back.

Re: LED Tail Lights

LEDs would be nice as long as there was heavy diffusing and it looked like a glowing panel instead of a computer chip covered in little lights like lots of kits do.

Re: LED Tail Lights

That's kind of the look I was trying to explain, thanks mate! Good analogy. To be honest, though, you would probably have to go flaurescent to get that route, and I don't even know if that's viable.

Re: LED Tail Lights

Yeah, I would love to have that very clean and simple look like the concept had, where you cant tell where the individual lights are:

This is the opposite of what I would like:

Re: LED Tail Lights

Wow, you guys really jumped the gun on the poor guy. He is looking for a retrofit of some sort.

Kind of like this for a 1970 Challenger Taillight.

This is what I would like to do on mine when I finally get one. Something of this nature... keep the look but that the safety and longevity of the LED's.

Re: LED Tail Lights

Thanks everyone for the topic ideas. I'm willing to replace the whole rear taillight assembly for a LED system that is done right. The diffused method is what I'm looking for, as mentioned above. Since I have spent 45K on the car, I'm willing to spend some more for a nice LED taillight system.
