Need opinions on stripes, t/a, aar strobe, r/t classic, hockey?

Yes, another stripes thread, lol.

Recently, I had to take the car to dealership. While I was there I asked for a quote on red R/T classic stripes, which were the stripes I had my heart set on, but the numbers they gave me were ridiculous ($1000! <-yes, three zeros!) Then, I emailed a different dealer and the price was more reasonable but still wasn't appealing ($285 for the stripes which was right on the money, and $300 for installation. I'm not sure how much it usually costs to install stripes but it was too high for me at the moment).

None of this was a problem because I can buy them myself and get them installed at a different shop, but all this waiting was getting me thinking about what stripes I actually wanted, and after looking around the internet, I'm torn between which ones I should get. I'm hoping to get them by xmas, if not for xmas, so I have some time to make up my mind.

Can I get some opinions on which ones I should get for my Black Challenger R/T?

I can always play it safe with my original choice the r/t classic stripes in red, which I think looks good but then I felt like I should go for something more unique:

There's the heritage style hockey stripe in red (with it saying either "hemi" or "345") which I thought looked amazing when I saw it on a blue challenger in silver, but for some reason I feel like it can't be pulled off in red on black, and I feel like it would be underwhelming:

Then there's the AAR 'Cuda style strobe decal, in red. I thought that this one was pretty neat. I'm not a fan of stripes that "divide" the car in half, but this strobe stripe can pull off a really clean look, but at the same time I feel like it wouldn't look good on my car. It looks good but I have my doubts about this one.

And finally, one that I thought was really cool, the T/A style stripe. It reminds me a lot of the R/T Classic stripe. It starts and ends at the same points that the classic stripe does, and it doesn't divide the car in half. I'm leaning towards this one. If I chose it then it would be in red of course, with custom text that says "R/T".

I've been sifting through ridergraphix's site looking for ideas, if you haven't figured it out already (watermark lol). If you have any ideas for stripes other than the ones I've posted up then please share them! (but just know that I'm trying to keep a classic look, nothing ricey or modern)

I'm having a really hard time deciding (now I know how girls feel when they're trying to decide what shoes to wear ). I know that what ever stripe I end up going with is going to look good, so there's no losing in this situation. But I want to pick the best looking stripe for my car! So, opinions, suggestions? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I don't have a stripe on my car yet but the TA stripe angled down off the rear window defines the shape of car perfectly and that's what I'd get of all the options shown.

Your best bet is to buy an aftermarket stripe, and install it yourself for free, it really isn't that hard to do if you take the time to clean the surface well beforehand. As for which one is best its really a matter of taste and preference, if i ever decide to remove the factory r/t stripe, i'd probably go with the AAR style strobe, as it looks good on the yellow body.

Black however is one of the few colors that I like the car without a stripe, or a flat black stripe on the black body to give a ghost stripe look. Buying stripes at the dealer is the most expensive path to take, aftermarkets are just as good, and will last just as long, and if you tire of it or make a mistake you can't live with redoing it later is very easy.
