Exterior Discussion / ModificationsWant to change the look and appearance of your Dodge Challenger? This section is for the discussion of any exterior visual modifications. Examples include wheels, custom paint, grills, etc.
The wheels would look much better if they had the proper sized tires. The tires are way too narrow and give off the euro rolled edge. Then with such a short sidewall you need to get rid of the wheel well gap wich would require lowering... etc... Not my style but if you like it that's all that matters.
Well, I don't know; I always seems to like a stock look [for the most part or did]! The red 'ring' wall looks or detracts from the overall appearance. Is the red a temporary [from newness or is that the permanent color of the wall ?Also, what's this "Euro rolled edge" about? I have not seen or heard what that's about ;just an image type look? I'm just wondering about that circular concrete patch deal below your Challenger !! Is that from where you practice "smokin' 'em " ?!?!?
running a 305 in the rear would require a different offset and I wanted lip in the rear. Am gonna lower it with the same KWV2 setup that I have on my 300SRT. The red pin stripe is permanent. Everyone that has seen it loves it. drove it to dealership and an old lady crossed the median and followed me there to get a closer look, said she loved it. Dealership asked me to duplicate for them, had a crowd in parking lot of about 50 people for 30 + minutes gazing and complimenting......I love it but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I have the factory 20's painted black with the polished inner star still polished and SRT letters in red it someone wants em' for a different stock look.

Second time I looked ,it does look sharp and most likely even better in person. The older lady must be sharp and the Dealer will be getting her as another fine customer !!!
Not a fan of the wheels myself. It reminds me too much like a kids bike wheel with the red stripe. Then again, i've never been a fan of black wheels anyway.
But yea, that's just one man's opinion. What counts is if you like them or not. It's your Challenger There is no "right way" to customize it. It's exciting to see everyone starting to customize their Challengers so soon. Good stuff!
