New Wheels American Racing, what do you all think?
I am leaning towards ordering these tommorrow for the Challenger Old Crager style but I like the deep well. They are American Racing Torq-Thrust® II Custom Offset (Polished) (Series 405)
2-piece alloy, polished wheel.
What do you all think.. I want the car to look good but not blingy?
I put 27% tint on the windows today. Legal limit. (see other thread)

Re: New Wheels American Racing, what do you all think?
I have always liked these wheels but since everyone likes them they have been on every car in every magazine over the past 5 years. Pick up a Hotrod magazine or the equivalent and 9 out of 10 cars have these wheels on them. They have been dying off a little over the last year or so but they are definitely the number one aftermarket wheel.
I cannot imagine how many pairs of these AR has sold over the last 5 or so years.
Re: New Wheels American Racing, what do you all think?
A friend at work has a new Charger Daytona with Torque Thrust II's. They're black center with 20x8 Front and 22x9.5 Rear. I'll bring my camera tomorrow and take some pics. American Racing has done a good job with sweeping the spokes back into the wheel to create the appearance of a deep dish even though the offset is clearly positive. Any size other than above would require custom order. I may do this as I do not care for the 22's on his car. For the killer look, you should have wider wheels in the back.
