Question For The Proud Owners

First of all, congratulations on owning an incredible automobile. Don't worry, I'm not jealous one bit, especially since I don't even have mine on order yet!

Now that you've had a chance to drive it around town, my question is in regards to the chin spoiler. How does it handle driveways and speed bumps? Have you had any issues with scraping or is there more than enough clearance?

When I finally get mine, I have a demented dream of lowering it to give it that mean bulldog stance but the chin spoiler is a concern. Let me know what you've experienced so far.

And Jay, if you're reading this, feel free to chime in! I love your garage!

Re: Question For The Proud Owners

When my wife saw the chin spoiler, she said "honey, you better order a spare one of those. How many did you rip off with the Charger?"

Re: Question For The Proud Owners

The only time I have scraped is in my Driveway..Even one of my SV's scrapes. One day I am going to have it fixed. I have driven 400 mile so far and haven't had any other problems.

Re: Question For The Proud Owners

I dont know about the challengers yet, but i have scraped several times in my charger. As a result, lowering the challenger will never be an option for me

Re: Question For The Proud Owners

Every time I pull out of a parking lot that drops down to the road...I grit my teeth. I don't think I will lower her. A spare is not a bad idea....lol

Re: Question For The Proud Owners

Even the R/T is low enough to the ground as it is. I have no intention of lowering it. I have only driven about 600 miles and have not come close to scraping anything yet. [knocks on wood]

Re: Question For The Proud Owners

I think it would be more prone on an SRT, since their spoilers are a bit more pronounced. I have an R/T, still, I drive like a grandpa in dips in the road and driveways!
