I could not find a nice looking diffuser for the challenger like the ones available for Camaros, Mustangs, Vipers, Corvettes. I can't figure out why no one makes one! Anyway, I decided to fabricate one myself and see if a company would like to purchase and produce it.
What do you guys think? Do you think there is a market for it?
Here's what I came up with. I fabricated it to fit, but have not mounted it.
Just doesn't go right with the car IMO. Looks like a$$. The only diffuser I can see coming close to looking good on the challenger is the charger SRT diffuser on the rear. I like the diffusers more slim and tucked/flush with the car.
I commend you on your creative innovation.

Wow, I actually like it, maybe slightly smaller overall and the fins a little shorter top to bottom, maybe round off the square edges running down the fins (or not)..I would buy one if the price isn't to crazy..definitely one of the best ones I've seen..once she's refined can you shoot me some pics of the finished prototype and/or your refinement plans for it...ballpark on price and turnaround time? Please let me know. thank you sir
I have one as well and the guy that used to hang bodies for Petty made it. We went more for function on this one. The one thing I have noticed is the rear bumper doesn't get as dirty as it used to because of the way the air is less turbulent. He designed it off of an idea he came up with on a cup car they used for a couple races till Nascar banned the design because it was deemed an advantage. For my next Challenger project I am buying one from Luke at Steve White. Here are the pics of the one on Killer Bee.
Arrington made it for me. Call and see if they will do another one. The only other person I know that has one in 1marine on his Green with Envy SRT Challenger. He had to have one after looking at mine.
I have to disagree. Mine is actually a functional piece and it's not terribly noticeable. My rear bumper would get so dirty after a drive but now it stays a whole lot cleaner after we installed it. I really only like things if it has a function and in this case it does.
