srt rear spoiler on SE

I just picked up my 09 SE the other day in black. I love the car. Couldn't afford the R/T.

The only thing I wish the car had was a rear spoiler like the srt and R/T. It looks naked without it. I have not been able to find an aftermarket spoiler for the SE.

My only option at the present time would be to order the factory srt8 rear spoiler to put on the decklid.

My question is, those with an srt, does the spoiler have a recesesed area where the srt8 emblem goes? If it does, then I wouldn't be able to use it as i would'nt want to put the srt emblem there. It would be just a blank recessed area. That would't look good.

Thanks for your input.

Re: srt rear spoiler on SE

You could get an SE emblem from one of the Jap car dealers and stick it on there.

Re: srt rear spoiler on SE

The spoiler on mine has a recessed area for the SRT8 emblem. To my knowledge though, the '09 R/T spoilers are painted body color and do not have a place for an emblem... you could go that route.

Or, you could order the Go-Wing spoiler from Mopar.

Your choice.

Re: srt rear spoiler on SE

You can order an R/T spoiler from an 09... some parts are in the system. You also can get the Mopar Accessories spoiler.

Go to your friendly dodge dealer parts department and have them look up a painted 09 spoiler. If they can't pull it up yet, then wait a few more weeks and it will be there. This isn't that big of a deal. The R/T spoiler is smooth and doesn't have the recessed area. Be patient.

Good luck

Mike
