Stripe options

So I've been thinking what kind of stripes to put on the Challenger. I have pics below of all the different Challenger stripes from 70 and 71. I like the look on the blue diecast, with the hood blackout and the side stripes, with the R/T at the end of the stripes. Definitely don't like the look of the factory stripes on the 2009.

2009 R/T stripes

1970-71 hood blackout

1970-71 hood blackout with R/T

Bumblebee stripe

T/A stripes

1971 R/T stripes

Some diecasts, but nice stripe setup

And this last one, notice the "gills" in front of the rear fender. Any aftermarket guys going to make a set? I'm sure they were just stick on in the first place.

Re: Stripe options

I like the T/A stripe the best . Just change the T/A to R/T.

Re: Stripe options

T/A or R/T side stripes it is, i also like the rear bumble bee stripe - maybe with an "R/T" cutout.

Re: Stripe options

I would be ok with the T/A style side stripe too.

What I really would like is someone to do the following:
1. Come out with an exhaust that exits out the sides
2. block offs for where the exhaust was in the back, or just a different rear valence
3. The T/A stripes on the side
4. T/A badges to replace the R/T badges
5. The little side spoilers that go on the fender right in front of the front wheels
6. And last, the proper full blackout hood with the correct scoop.

Then you would have a T/A

Re: Stripe options

I'd like mine with the hood blackout, T/A style side stripe and the bumblebee stripe on the rear.

Re: Stripe options

Can't wait, man. I'd love some red T/A "R/T" stripes for my black Challenger. Any possible way you could have a flat red color?
