I saw the Mopar Performance TA hood in the back of the '09 Challenger brochure. LOVE IT !!!! Does anyone know when it's going to be available and possibly what the cost will be? I had a '70 Cuda and was actually building it to be an AAR replica (had an original 340TA block, heads and the 6-pack) so to build a '09 Hemi Challenger TA would be cool (would be better if some of the more funky colors were available though).
This hood should be available in late September or early October.
No idea on cost at this point, but I am keeping an eye on this one.
As soon as I have info, I will be sure to post it up.
I was thinking the same. Sublime anyone? I don't know if the sidepipes would work or not without seeing the underside of the car.
Im almost certain that sidepipes are not going to work on this car. There is no way on the charger, and Im sure the challenger is very similiar on the underside.

I think that you are correct about the sidepipes. The 1970 Challenger T/A had a tucked under fuselage body. The 2008-09 Challenger is based on the Charger and is slab-sided. That's why the bottom part of the body is blacked out- to give the illusion of a slimmer body.
It's too bad because you could have built a cool T/A with the optional hood (painted flat black with 4 hood pins), the T/A stripes from RiderGraphix, and an SRT (black) spoiler.
