So, I'm a big fan of the undercar lights... I know, you see them on the ricers most often, but I see them on trucks a lot too.
Anyway, everyone I've ever talked to about putting them on my Chally always think it's cool and would look good. But I talked to a buddy of mine last night (he's got a Charger SRT8) and when I mentioned them, he looked at me like I was retarded.
So, I figured I'd see what the masses think. Just so you know, I was considering putting a blue LED undercar kit on my black Chally (which is going to have silver stripes soon). The kit would be turned on via remote (like a key fob) for added convenience (no switch inside the car).
So... think it's a good idea, or a bad one? Let the thrashing begin!
Not a fan personally but to each his own. Im planning on swapping the fogs out to match the HID's with Hoen bulbs and also swap in their digital license plate bulbs which I think will clean up the look of the car nicely when she arrives, get rid of all the yellow tones from the stock lamps.
Lights under the car, 24" wheels, giant wings on the trunk, and poser add-ons (like fake Brembo brake calipers) are all things that ricers do. I my opinion, they all severely detract from the Challenger.
Man guys did that in the late 60s too on the rear axle only, dim lit blue or dark red. Oh, not for me Nixx. Do a mock up and look though and post some pics.
I would put a bleach kit in the trunk and a washer bottle squirter. Then when you nail it you can make some real smoke.
Just kidding, had a friend in High School do this in the early 70's on his 67 Goat... man made some serious smoke..
