What are the options for louvers now? I have..

seen Astra Hammond ABS-
but it says they have a textured finish. I am not for a rubbermaid trashcan on the back of my Challenger. can have for about 300 bucks delivered.

There Aluminum is not out yet, and they were loud on my ride back in the day. dont know when or what price they will be exactly, probaly 5 or 600 delivered.

there is a guy on ebay selling smooth injection molded plastic ones about 500 or so deliverd

Another place called limited parts industries has them but no price noted.

Anyone that has them, I would really appreactiate knowing what you think, where you got them, and any close pics.

I am basically looking for a smooth pair, that don't require drilling, and are easy to remove or lift for cleaning the rear window.

Thank you for any information.

I have the plastic louvers now. Like you, I was not thrilled with them at first. But after living with them for a while I like them. I'd still like to have either smooth plastic or aluminum, but not for an additional cost at this point (unless I could find them in carbon fiber). And the texture actually accents my carbon fiber spoiler nicely (carbon fiber spoiler not pictured below).

The car has been in six shows with these on and it has take 5 first place and 1 best of show award so others seem to like them also.

What is the name of the company that made your louvers? How easy is to wash a car with them on and clean the rear window? Does it add blind spots out the back of the car
Thanks

I can't remember the name of the company but it was Canadian as I recall.

Taking the louvers off is as simple as removing the six thumb screws and lifting it off. Very easy.

The rear view is obstructed maybe 10%. The view is still very good.

The ones that limited parts industries makes are sold throgh Herbs parts and are by far the best looking and most accurate to the originals, but very expensive at 1200.00

Thanks everyone,
I have decided against ABS, and as nice as the 1200 dollar ones look,
have decided a nice option are the aluminum ones astra hammond/willpak,
like year one has, but you can find them for about 360 delivered else where.

Catch is,
everyone has the aluminum ones on backorder. Not sure when they will be in stock.
I have been burned by a week or two backorder that turns into forever enough i will wait until in stock.
