Re: What you would desire/modify on your new Chally - Interior/Exterior

For such a small thing, it's the rams head in the middle of the hood that bothers me most. Easy to get rid of, but any ideas how to bring that paint back in for a straight line down the hood without spending a fortune repainting ? I really like all the other ideas you guys are sharing too, but I'm probably not in the same ballpark as you guys for money to play with on this car , I know I'm getting mine, but I don't have a lot extra to play with. That rams head bothers me though !! Any thoughts for a cheap fix?
Any ideas on that would be appreciated.
The only other thing I need to do right away is put some chrome Cragers on this black car I'm getting. The polished aluminum just won't cut it on the black.
Nice pics of the turbine rims "6 Pack", but they draw in to the body of this car too much. The rims need to stay flush with this body.

Here's an idea what relocated flashers/DRLs in the lower fogs would look like in the pic below

Challenger parts will be expensive!!!!!!

In the Mopar Starparts catalog (for dealers), the racing gas cap is listed as $639 (Part # 5112873AA).

The interior is not to bad for a new car,But it was a big let down to see that they went from a ralley dash to that, other dash and no ram air otherwise i would'nt complain about it.I really am thinking about canceling my order. But i gusss you take what they give you.

Re: What you would desire/modify on your new Chally - Interior/Exterior

Hmmm lets see here. First off i think i'd probably have to have it re-painted in either sublime, plum crazy or panther pink, then possibly have the interior changed to white. Next i would have them add the billboard stripe in a coordinating color, nix the rams head on the hood in favor of the plain ole D-O-D-G-E , get a set of hood pins installed,a shaker hood and lastly(or so i think)have the tremec 6 speed thrown in for good measure. All this of course once they come out with the drop top. Ive been kind of mulling over that and i think i will wait until they come out with the convertibles before i jump.......i mean who knows, they might even have the 6.4 out by then and i dont want to just settle.

It's basically on an equal to the 1970 model;considering all of the Federal safety requirements, as well as with today's updated technologies. Also, remember there are 13[ yes 13] speakers in a mid-sized retro coupe. There simply is no other way { unless a previous idea of mine could be implimented; which was to have Helium Canisters installed [stategically] with guages to offset the extra weight onboard : which I would know would add more expense} !!!Unless you /one is wanting a Challenger for the track, @425 HP,which is more than @ least 95% of vehicles already on the roads ;what more is there to ?
