Yea I just picked up on the new pics too. When is someone going to get a decent pic of the rear taillight? I know it's nobodies fault of not getting a pic. I just hope they keep it close to the concept. It is something that really sets it apart from other cars on the road.

The concept's neon tailights are out.

The 2008 production model will have tailights similar to those on a 1970 Challenger with a white back-up light in the middle.

Yea, I saw those before. I don't think there was enought there to tell for sure. When I brought this up a while back, our insider "Champ" said we would not be disappointed. So I have been hanging on those words until I see otherwise!

"Autoblog reader Ray O'Connor happened upon an undisguised Dodge Challenger on his way to work in the Detroit area and managed to snap a photo of it from behind the wheel. At first, we wondered whether the HEMI orange car pictured was simply the concept car out and about, because it has been known to traverse public roads before. Neither the ducktail spoiler on the trunklid nor the taillamp design shown on this car are features of the concept, however, so we're guessing one of the preproduction cars was stretching its legs a bit. Or maybe Chrysler's taking a page from GM and, like the Camaro, has decided to just get rid of the camo altogether. In any case, the car will finally be revealed to the world next month in Chicago, and we'll be there, as always, to cover it.

An insider on allpar stated that it is a 2009 R/T. Note that the the spoiler on the R/T is painted the same color as the body, unlike the flat black spoiler on the SRT.
