Thanks for the update. The B pillar is not an issue for me. We should all be thankful that Chrysler followed through on its promise and is building a very close facsimile of the concept car.

Re: 2008 Dodge Challenger Spy Shots

Any idea when the advertising campaign will start?

Am also curious if anyone is documenting the history of this car from the intitial concept discussions thru the actual release. Would be nice to have an "official" coffee table style book that details the project with pictures. I'm curious as to whether the "Mopar Guru" Galen Govier is, or will, produce one of his white books for the new Challenger.

I suspect that this is one of those projects where people will be snatching up every ad or other Challenger related item they can. Great stuff at car shows.

Thanks for the update.

Well I have a question that you could probably answer without worrying about getting fired. In general terms does the car feel like a challenger in dimensions or a 300 in challenger clothing.

Also any ideas on curb weight (this question is more iffy I guess)

Re: 2008 Dodge Challenger Spy Shots

Earlier someone asked why they would cover both ends up after they already revealed the concept car. I am sure they are generating free hype by driving around and making everyone wonder what changed. There may also be an alterior reason in that it could have been a "Cuda." I saw a post where someone said they have a single "unit" where they work, not calling any names, but I doubt it.

I think that the camo is just a slick way to generate interest in the 2008 Challenger. Car manufacturers like potential buyers to play the guessing game. Just look how we are all taking about it.

Well, yah maybe like you said,' to generate talk amongst us and the Media ]types],but that's about it since those test vehiculars are only driven around testing headquarters and/or other designated locations ! I thought the main reason for coverage was to keep the competition from knowing their secrets ??? ? ??

well you believe what you want, we have a "pilot" car that came in with the "camo" on it, if you've seen some of my posts, you should know that the company i work for handles all the concepts and show cars from DCX. i could post everything that has changed from concept to production, BUT THEN I'D GET FIRED!! and like i said before, i do love my job.like i said before you should be too disapointed with the final outcome of this car.
