Nice! Congratulations. I think that the dealers will start to deal on the Challenger.

Question Re: 2009 Dodge Challenger Pricing!

Hello everyone, just came across the site today and after ordering my SRT8 in Torred yesterday I'm kinda nervous as hell... the pricing everyone is getting from reading this post was the first set of pages I read then stumbled across the #7 cylinder and transmission issue. The price I negotiated from what I'm reading here seems too far fetched to be real!?!?!
The car is to be fully loaded 6speed stick everything! I live in Niagara Falls Canada area and have been following this car since it's debut and decided to attempt to negotiate a price in Mississauga after a close friend of mine (service manager at Wills Chev-Olds) came across this dealership through an internet search for SRT8's. The car they had advertised was Torred, NO hoodstripe, auto, other than that loaded! $44,990. Wanting to have my first ever new car built just for me and not wanting to buy one off of a lot had no interest in this car. The B4 mentioned looked in fine shape 120Km if memory serves me correctly but noticed immediately a chunk out of the drivers rear wheel AND tire... So anyway admiring the red and was now swayed from the initial orange that I was going to order. The MSRP is supposed to be $52870.00 after about 2 and a half hours I signed for $45561.00 a discount of $7308
Mike
I also forgot to mention that I got them to give me a free install on headers and aftermarket exaust when the car is broken in.

Re: 2009 Dodge Challenger Pricing!

Ordered an R/T for $300 over invoice on the 14th of January. Subtract the $1000 rebate for Credit Union financing and I'm $700 under invoice!

Re: 2009 Dodge Challenger Pricing!

On Saturday, I did a Dodge online appraisal for my 1998 Camry 6 cyl with 70,000 miles as a trade in for the Challenger. Kelly blue book value is around $7,000. The dealer is supposed to contact me. I am still worried about the Challenger RT on winter roads in Wisconsin. Any feedback from someone who has one up north?

Re: 2009 Dodge Challenger Pricing!

looks like you can get $500.00 from a car show, $1000 from the finance, 0% at 3 years or 2.9% upto 5 years, 0-5% under cost starting Monday. Also the $1000.00 for owning another product, IMO that wont apply to the undercost Monday sale.

I don't understnd the car show discount. Do you get that if there's a car show in your area, or if you go to the car show and buy one, or if there is a car show somewhere in the world when you buy it, what?

Re: 2009 Dodge Challenger Pricing!

I am going in on Monday to see what the total comes out to for purchasing a 2009 R/T.

Here is the article: Now's a great time to buy a new Chrysler, Jeep® or Dodge with our new Employee Plus Plus program.
New vehicle customers receive employee price on all 2008 and 2009 Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge vehicles
Customers also receive discounts of up to $3,500 on 2009 model year vehicles and $6,000 on 2008 model year vehicles
Zero percent financing is available for up to 48 months
$1,000 consumer bonus cash is available on most models when financed at Chrysler Financial or local credit union
New program is effective beginning on Jan. 26, 2009

Chrysler LLC announced today that it will offer the new "Employee Pricing Plus Plus" program to all customers toward the purchase or lease of a new 2008 or 2009 Chrysler, Jeep® or Dodge vehicle. In addition to the employee price, customers will be eligible for cash discounts of up to $3,500 for 2009 model year vehicles and up to $6,000 on 2008 model year vehicles. Chrysler Financial is also offering zero percent financing to qualified customers for up to 48 months. Other finance terms and rates are also available.

"Chrysler is offering America the same pricing our employees receive through the new 'Employee Pricing Plus Plus' program with great savings off the Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price, plus cash discounts of up to $3,500 on 2009 models, plus zero percent financing through Chrysler Financial," said Steven Landry, Executive Vice President – North American Sales, Marketing, Mopar Parts and Service. "With affordable financing available and some of the best pricing we have offered in recent months, this really is a great time to visit a Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge dealer."

The "Employee Pricing Plus Plus" incentive program is available to all customers beginning on Mon., Jan. 26. Dodge Sprinter is not included in this program.

Can someone verify if this is, and or will also apply in Canada? I currently have an SRT on order for May 8th and was supposed to get any and all incentives offered between now and then.
thanx
Mike
P.S. what does "0-5% under cost" mean?

I think this is in reference to Chrysler's "Employee Pricing" which starts Monday. This price should amount to 5% under the dealer invoice cost of the car.

It still seems to be an unknown whether or not SRT vehicles will be part of this deal or not. Until I read it on a Chrysler website tomorrow, I wouldn't assume SRT8s will be elligible.
