"Deals" change on cars from day to day. There is no telling how many Challengers will be available next month, much less in four to five months. They could be all over the place or none at all, so there is no way you can tell what the price will be. Dodge could even adjust the price AGAIN on the car and add $500 to $1000 to every Challenger and then your screwed.
If I were you, I would start checking out the Chicago and Detroit area dealers as well as in your area and try to cut a deal at the end of this year when weather there will be bad.
Thats when dealers will be trying to unload cars from their lots at low prices. If you wait until March or April, thats when folks will be looking to buy because the weather is better AND tax refund checks will be in the mail. It is a FACT that new car prices are are always highest between March and June because of tax refund checks causing greater demand.
I would be looking to buy close to Invoice in your area which is about $2500 or so under MSRP. The "free" headlights that come with the car are just fine. $600 for the HEDs is a complete waste of money unless you do all of your driving in the middle of nowhere and there are no street lights.
Good luck and be prepared to buy when you are offered a good deal on the car you want!
