2010 Detroit Auto Show Coverage

Subdued in 2009, America's most important auto show is back on track at the start of a new and more optimistic year. General Motors and Ford will take center stage with a long list of new and important products including the 2011 Ford Focus, 2011 Ford Mustang GT, Chevrolet Camaro Convertible, 2011 Chevrolet Aveo, Buick Regal GS, GMC Granite Concept, Cadillac XTS Concept and Cadillac CTS-V Coupe. As for Chrysler, it doesn't have any press conference scheduled, but it will display a rebadged five-door hatchback from Fiat's Lancia brand, as well as a lineup of Fiat 500 models, including a convertible, electric version and a sporty Abarth model. Now under Fiat's wing, the Chrysler booth with also display amazing machines from both Ferrari and Maserati.

Other important vehicles debuting at the show include the Honda CR-Z Hybrid, a dedicated hybrid concept from Toyota, the 2011 BMW 3 Series, BMW Z4 sDrive35is, 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe, MINI Beachcomber Concept and the Mercedes E-Class Cabriolet.

There's sure to be plenty more as well, so check back often as we update this page with the latest breaking news from the Detroit Auto Show starting January 11th.

Detroit Auto Show: 2010 Chrysler 300 S6 and 300 S8 Special Editions - AutoSpies Auto News

The above is for the UK, but scroll down and you can see a bunch of links to other cars at the show.

All I can say, is so far I am not impressed whatsoever with anything from anybody...seems like things are truly going backwards again in terms of power...a 4 cylinder Buick Regal?.....bring back the Grand National please.

Haven't seen anything about Challengers or Chargers, which is disappointing, but I didn't really expect it. I can't stand all the little "mobile devices" that are popping up...lets just put more cars out that say "use your cell phone and computer while driving." It's getting bad and its only getting worse with the new technology. Maybe some good stuff will pop up as the week progresses, but right now, I am very disappointed...AND COULD SALEEN MAKE THE CAMARO ANY UGLIER? Yes they can....it looks like Bruce from "Finding Nemo"

rand over. FIN

Well, yes, it's a bit dismaying not to see some Chrysler/Dodge /Plymouth Concepts; but Chrysler is still hurting; had a real bad December sales.Plus, with a new owner; Fiat...perhaps later in the year ..something might be in works ! Heck, Challengers have been at the previous 4 autoshows and that's pretty good. It's expensive too to do the autoshow circuit..personel,concepts,engineering etc. Heck, the 2006 Challenger Concept was expensive !! I don't know what the total cost was just for that; but do know that it was insured for $3,000,000 !!
