2012 L.A. Auto Show Coverage

The LA Auto Show continues to grow as a major event on the automotive calendar and this year is now different with 40 new models and now less than 20 world premieres set to debut. Confirmed reveals include the VW Beetle Convertible, Subaru Forester, Ford Fiesta ST (seen above) and Acura RLX, while rumored unveilings include the Lamborghini Aventador Roadser, BMW i4, Fiat 500 Abarth Cabriolet, Porsche Cayman, Kia Forte and Jaguar XFR-S. Look for several green car reveals as well, not to mention the annual Green Car of the Year award.

The only thing of interest to the Mopar Lover is the intro of the 2013 Charger Daytona at the LA Auto Show ... otherwise nadda interest.

how unimpressive the 2013 Daytona is....

a sticker and my IE rims.....

yea it looks good, but couldnt they do a bit more?

Dodge really needs to work on their special editions....they really arent special enough...not even close

cant they at least give'em 15 more HP or something???

at least the Mopar 11 gave the Charger a different rear ratio and the Mopar 10 got a few more HP and ram air

they do those editions right......all the others (including mine)...blah(except for my seats)

This car was introduced at 2013 SEMA Show 10/31/12 ... nothing new!!!

As far as 2013 Charger Daytona ... truely unimpressive as already stated ... could use a TALL air foil ala 1969 model. Maybe HPP who does the Challenger Daytona model.

I totally agree. Special edition cars should have more hp if even something like a slightly better programming for a few extra 10-15 hp. Kinda like the TransAms and the Firehawks. Although the "Hotwheels" Camaro has got my eye. Its just apperence but my entire childhood revolved around Hotwheels and the color scheme and wheels are perfect.
