As for our gas prices, they're higher because we have a fairly large gas tax, and incidentally, using any of this to reflect anything political (which wasn't my intention either) is pretty moronic, because Alberta, the Canadian province that is most like Texas politically, and where almost all of our gas comes from, pays more at the pump than any other part of the country, per capita.

Can we talk about cars now?
I was merely relaying my anger at something an ignorant person said...back to cars.....my brother lives in brampton not far from the factory where the car is supposed to be built and he said he has seen a number of challengers in camo being tested on the highways, in and around the factory. I also have news that chryslers will be offering the Charger in a 6speed in the not so distant future, they are currently testing chargers with 6speeds at the auburn hills R&D centre.

Here , I'm singing the beginning of the Canadien anthem [your country] with a smile because I like Canadiens [Les Canadiens ] ,then express my ' transposed ' jealousy { of not being in Canada and getting a 3% over cost deal :is it ? --as well as feeling proud the Challenger is ' Manufactured in Canada ' } by applying the ' sticking out tongue icon !! Oh good grief ! !! ~~~~~ Ok ,now back to cars and this thread ~~~ First off, and please you or anyone ,please correct me if incorrect ,but granted it appears that the Challenger will/might be built at Brampton ; I do not believe that DCX has officially announced that ! . Next ,is as far as I know the original and the new Challengers are 100% American icons and muscle cars as I believe both were designed by American designers in American design studios with the latest done by Micheal Castiglione @ Chrysler's Pacifica Design Studio [ in California ] . Now, granted DCX/ specifically DODGE traces part of its beginning in Windsor,Ont.Canada [ by making bicycles] as the E & D company { and actually is partially responsible for Ford's Model T's being that the Dodge's built at least 80% of the Ford Model T } until Daimler Benz merged with Chrysler , Dodge is an American Company being started in 1901 in Detroit ,Michigan on Beaubien street [ ok and yes ,I believe Detroit and Beaubien are Canadien or French Canadien derived words; again not 100% sure though ! Next, while you say ,'How can you call it an American Icon/Muscle car when the original was built in Windsor Ontario CANADA ' ; that is not totally true ! Yes, I believe some of the original Challenger's were built in Windsor ,probably most were built here in the U.S. of A's[ ] i/e/ Jefferson in Detroit, as well as in Los Angeles& a couple elsewhere ? [ where my 2nd Challenger was built ! In conclusion: I, Donkeydude , do wish I had one of my Challengers , wish your neighborhood had about 4" of fresh snow so I could do some donuts !! Whheeee-Haawwwwwww
