Re: Challenger To Hit The Road In 18 Months?!

(Hello - first post here, please be nice)

The Challenger concept looks like it came right off the factory line, while the Camero still looks like a concept car. GM deserves to be in the mess it's in for dumping the Camero and Firebird and leaving a gaping hole in thier lineup of cars. Now they are really going be left behind.

I think Mopar will have a monsterous success with the new Challenger. Its retro, but not a replica that appeals to all ages. The older adults will love that old school styling, and the younger adults/teens will be lured into the showroom with the big Hemi and modern tech.

I hope it wont be a limited edition product, but a true mass production car that will have different models, price ranges and a economy 3.5 V6 model for the scaredy cats. And I agree a convertable would be very sweet too.

Get your batteries charged DJ.....it's coming this summer.

Welcome WildbillTX, I think it will be interesting to see how close the production cars match up to both of these concepts.

Re: Challenger To Hit The Road In 18 Months?!

Well, instead of talking about it on the forum, contact Dodge! I just did. I let them know of my opinion on the car and that it should be in production. Don't just dream. Tell Dodge you want it!

ROFL !!!

I did not think about that …

Fortunately I won’t have to do that.

I have been patient. Been a good dad, a good husband (I think), saved some money, etc…

But this one is for me. There will be no compromise, and no sharing (OK, maybe some sharing with the wife). Kids won’t have access to the keys of that one !!

Re: Challenger To Hit The Road In 18 Months?!

Maybe someone can post this on the front page so it gets more hits. I've just been going to the "contact us" section, then "New Vehicles", then "Send us an Email." Has anyone found a different link? Here the one i've been using:

http://www-5.dodge.com/wccsapp/unive...ull&category=N

hope that works.
