Does anyone know if current SE ownerrs would be able to swap out the four speed for the 5 speed?

Looks Good.

Three Points:

1. The City EPA MPG numbers suffer a bit, probably due to lower gearing in the 5 speed auto trans. Probably gets better 0-60 times, though, which is a good thing.

2. Stripes look fine, and there's going to be many color/stripe combos.

3. They should offer a Dual Exhaust Package OTC for the Kids.

What a bummer!! I got my SE in October , drove 2 weeks and parked it for the winter. I just brought it out last week and started to enjoy driving it again. Now I find out if I had waited I could have gotten the SE with the 5 speed autostick. I could give myself a kick in the rear. I wonder if I could swap out the trannys. I better start saving for that.

i'm sure you will need a lot more than a trans to convert to the 5-speed autostick.

I still don't see the Rally pkg on the Dodge website although they have updated their inventory search tool. It was basically useless before, much easier to use now. I already ordered mine a month ago but I still check to see what's out there sometimes.

This makes the SE all the more appealing. Think I may just get one of these with 7k down, pay on it aggressively for a year or two and trade up to the R/T.

Has anyone actually ordered one yet? I ordered my SE before this was available and I don't wanna change my order now to cause further delays - it's reallly just cosmetic stuff anyway. I wonder if they started rolling down the line today since it's the 14th and the first day of production for the SE w/ the 5 speed auto trans...

Se Rallye needs a stick

A couple of great improvements to the Rallye SE would be to offer a stick and dual exhaust. A great RT cheater. They can use a cheaper 5-speed stick to keep the cost down and how much more could a dual exhaust cost from the factory?

The lower total cost and lower insurance would open up the market to a ton of wanna be RT buyers on a budget.

I just ordered a RT Classic 6-spd, but I won't be driving it every day. The SE/R stick would be a great budget everyday driver most people could afford.
