Red Letter Dodge Release: New 2009 Dodge Challenger SE Rallye Earns Its Stripes

Redletter and a few more details, man when do they build this ting?

Also I noticed issues on the Dodge bild your own site, if you choose an SE 4 and 5 speed is an option why?

But on a SE-G only list 4 speed auto? Make no sense, and still not option for this new Rallye build yet...

Whenever the Rallye model finally comes out, I'm curious to test drive one. I love my SE, but the 4-speed transmission does nothing for it. I think the 5-speed will be a serious improvement. I would have got the 5 on mine if it had been available. I don't really care for the wheels or the stripes on the Rallye though.

I wonder how much Chrysler wants for one of those transmissions new.

the rear end in taller for better fuel MPG, so dont look for a lot better 0-60. Also the rear end is alarger unit getrag. You would need to add a predator to tune the speed sensor and speedo calibrate for no check engine lite. It would then be quick 0-60 with the 4spd gears in her, but MPG would be about what you have now.

I think that trans is in the 4k range with no core.

Now if they would add the Phoenix V-6, a 6-spd stick, limited slip diff, and dual exhaust, they'd really have something.
