SRT8 Suspension repair

Just got my car out of the shop after hitting a curb. Had to replace Rt front and rear Knuckles, lft and rt strut rods. Some pieces were made out of aluminum so the repair shop stated. Knuckles were very expensive $1600. Struts were $200, replaced 2 wheels $997 a piece and 1 tire @ $413. Total came to almost $4300. Makes me wonder down the line. Keep her in the road fellas.

Optional firmer suspension is a definite plus, but I dont know how much that would bring up the price for those that dont need/want it.

Here are several threads, there are many with issues mainly noises coming from the front end .

I suspect bad bushings on the sway bar or bad tie rod ends..

Rust on front suspension components.

I see many many owners including myself replacing the sock sway bars with aftermarket ones. I think on the SRT they should be stiffer than the RT. the car should not have the same parts that directly affect handling for the price we paid for our SRT8's they should have the best on them from the factory. I realize that you have to stop somewhere but handling is part of the overall SRT experience and this is one mod I should not havce to pay for later! JMO
