Finally, Challenger build-tool available @ Dodge.com

It has been a long time in the making but we are finally nearing the goal. You can visit Dodge.com and build up your Challenger with your favorite model, wheel and paint combinations. No more guessing... I would imagine its just a matter of time before you will be able to place your order. Just a bit of time before you'll be able to track your baby through the entire build and shipping process.

Dodge - 2009 Challenger

Great times indeed my friends!

Hmmmm....

I don't see where this is available on the website. The only 2009 vehicle listed under the build my own drop-down is the Journey. At least that is what I see.

WTF?

I think that when you go to the site, the Journey is the default load. If you click on the select a vehicle menu at upper left, you can select Challenger. It does however load slowly on some computers. A video comes up at the start.

Re: Finally, Challenger build-tool available @ Dodge.com

Saw the site last night - had no problems with it.
Same old problem though- those color choices for the SRT 2009. What are we going to do about them? Hey, I'll be paying enough but I would go the extra for the color wanted. Who knew it would be such a CHALLENGE to buy it??

I think that info has been up for about 3 weeks now if I remember right.
No way to price the car yet however.

I noticed about a week after this came out Dodge added the dark titanium clear coat to the color list, so maybe more colors will also soon be added.

Re: Finally, Challenger build-tool available @ Dodge.com

went to a dealer today to see about ordering my 2009 . Saw a brochure on the desk for the 2009. No Hemi Orange for the SRT8. RT only. Can't believe they would do that. Give us some good colors besides torrid red. the rest are funeral home colors. won't sell alot with the rest. was told I could order 2009 closer to the end of the month. GIVE US GOOD COLORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Finally, Challenger build-tool available @ Dodge.com

I went to my local Dodge dealer yesterday, and was able to place my order for the 2009 Challenger R/T. I put $1,000 down and agreed that the deal would be at MSRP. No pricing is available yet, and the brochure lists B5 Blue as a late year addition. I of course don't want to wait any longer so i ordered triple Black, Black exterior, Black R/T stripe and Dark slate gray leather interior(closest interior color to black)

So for those wondering, you can order now, ordering opened on Monday.
