Thank you!! Thats what I say!

Yeah I like the look of the wheel but I'm not a fan of 20s or 21s...I would like to see 17s and 18s

Re: Insider Confirms Dodge Challenger Production Status?

Wheels sure aren't going to dramatically reduce a cars weight. And keep in mind, the 20" and 21" wheels may not make it through to production. I wouldn't go smaller than 18" and 19" though or it will look funny, not to mention not fill out the wheel wells.

I have no doubts this thing will be on the LY platform considering even the current LX cars are supposed to change over to this. When it will be brought out is a big guess, because they have absolutely nowhere to build it at this time. The Brampton plant is still running at max capacity building the current LX cars, so that most likely is out. They are dumping a lot of money into the two plants here in St. Louis, so who knows, maybe they will switch it to down here...that would be sweet for me, I could try to get a peek at them when they start rolling off the line.

Re: Insider Confirms Dodge Challenger Production Status?

I'm hoping for some kind of announcement on Monday at the autoshow. Hopefully DCX will have something big to offset the unveiling of the Camaro.

Keep in mind however, that weight saved on rotating mass is a 10 fold savings.

ie. 1 pound saved on unsprung weight is the same as 10 lbs saved elsewhere.

So, if your wheel weighs 30 pounds and you reduce that to 15, its like you shaved 150 lbs off the car.
