If we keep an eye on the industry rags and appropriate websites (like this one and allpar) the details will leak out sooner than later I suspect. The good news is that now that word is out DCX may lift the gag order on dealerships to give us a good source of inside info along with our regular trusted sources.

This may be what they meant by "generating dealership buzz" in an earlier report - not necessarily expecting to sell more current cars but to get people into the dealerships for more Challenger info. And maybe making a few more sales to boot.

I'm suprised that people think that this is some great news....Ok they said it's a ''Go'' so what, I alone with alot of people allready knew that. There was never a dought they would make it. And like I said we know nothing more now than we allready did.

I'm happy as a clam now that the announcement is official!

I doubt the dash will make production in it's concept form. Also, Motor Trend interviewed one of the designers and he said that the bumpers would likely be bigger and that the door sills would not tuck in as much. It will be fun to see what info leaks out over the next few months.

I went to the askdrz.com site to ask if the 2008 Challenger would be a manual Trans...automatic Trans.... or both, and here was their reply:
