You won't see mention of weight (at least an accurate number) until they actually build one on the LY platform. I think after it's all said and done it will wind up weighing less than everybody is thinking. All of these magazine articles (Car and Driver comes to mind) throwing out completely inaccurate guesses of 4000+ lbs has started a huge amount of misinformation.

They said that they took 4" off the LX base to make the challenger. That has to take off a bit of weight...that and the Carbon Fiber hood.
