It is a common pastime for us to sit around and talk about what should have been done on this vehicle or that vehicle to make it the ultimate car. Gearheads are united in the fact that we can never fully agree on what constitutes a perfect performance machine. Now is your chance to let your voice be heard however and have a true hand in the future development of the next SRT vehicle.
We have been contacted by the SRT Engineering Team to help spread the word and get as much feedback as possible from the communities that buy these things! Please take a moment out of your day and head over to the following URL and participate in the very quick survey. Your feedback helps out a ton in allowing SRT to decide the most efficient use of their engineering resources... and the more efficient they can do that, the more efficient our potential purchase will ultimately end up. Everyone wins.
Edit: Link Removed -- Thanks everyone who participated, they got plenty of feedback and no longer need the survey filled out!
After completing the survey, please chime in here and let us know your thoughts and let us know you completed the survey. I'd like to see us really take advantage of this opportunity and the more the merrier!
Just did mine it had some very good questions, I know People like paddle shifters but it doesn't do it for me, I think the Challenger is the perfect platform for developing future vehicles.
Ok, I just completed mine;although nothing stated anything about who launched this survey.or that SRT was doing this ! I mentioned that I did not like the current Autostick design ,meaning the staggered column shifter; as I compared it with the 70's [727 Torqueflite] Auto SlapStik which had the straight column !!
Cool. I hope it will really be used to improve the product. Keep them coming. It seems like they want to know if we'd buy the 79 REM dual-clutch transmission and how we'd like to shift it.
I'm good with the straight line console shifter on my '64 300 that has detents like the slapstick and also the push button top console shifter I had on a '68 Barracuda. But we're talking 3 speeds not 5 or 6. I'm getting used to the side to side toggle on my R/T. Pretty soon it'll be as easy as finding my .... in the dark! And I'd try a paddle setup even though it's certainly not retro.
Durn new stuff! lemme fire up the highway hi-fi...who needs a shifter on the floor? it's 'sposed to be up by the steering wheel!

Ok I just completed it but who is making this survey? It doesn't really say. Anyway, the paddle shifter I said would be ok on a sports car not a musclecar and I prefer the autostick to shift up and down as opposed to side to side.
