Winding Road ad reveals production Dodge Challenger profile

The newest issue of Winding Road is available to view or download, and an Autoblog reader glimpsed this ad on page 155 that pimps next month's issue with a full-on profile shot of what WR refers to as the 2009 Dodge Challenger (correct us if we're wrong, but the Challenger's first model year will technically be 2008). Hmm... either Winding Road has access to some previously unreleased official images or else Dodge invited some press folk to preview the new Challenger ahead of its debut at the Chicago Auto Show early next month. Either way, you get to see new Challenger from the side courtesy of Winding Road. Thanks for the tip, Paul!

the guy driving is from work, he shot that photo in oct. 2007 was shot in the valley of fire. he showed me a big photo with some other photos along the top that he got. was a cool poster size, wish i could get a copy. looks very cool, now i can see why the tires aways looked bald when it was in the shop.

You are right. It is the valley of fire. I can tell by all of the SMOKE!!!! CCR, do you know if there will be a SRT at the NYC show in March? Some are saying only 2009 V6 & R/T. Oh, by the way, if you happen to run into any "TOP BRASS" in your travels tell them to go ahead and build a 392 HEMI Challenger. They were probably just waiting to get the OK from me so tell them I said it is OK.

I think it's symbolic that the cactus in the picture looks like it's flipping the bird while the Challenger is smoking the tires. Perhaps a message to corporate America and it CAFE standards? I LOVE THIS CAR!
